The House says...
Chelsea bounced back from a 5-2 defeat at the hands of West Brom by beating Crystal Palace 4-1. They were then beaten by Porto but still progressed in the next round of Champions League. They followed that once more by beating Manchester City in the FA Cup to advance in the finals to face Leicester. It seems that Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea was a match made in heaven. They have a chance to leapfrog West Ham at the 4th spot so this is an important match for the Blues.
Brighton hosted Everton in their last match and drew 0-0. They are still in 16th spot and are still in danger of being relegated. They currently have 33 points, 7 points short of that magical 40, with 7 more matches remaining. They will visit Stamford Bridge and try to at least get a point.
Chelsea have won their last 3 home matches against Brighton in all competitions, and kept a clean sheet in all those 3 as well. Moreover, they are undefeated in 11 of their last 12 league matches. Add the fact that a win here will make them go to 4th place. With the form of Thomas Tuchel and his men, I can see nothing but a Home win here. The handicap here is a little too low I think. I am backing Chelsea.
Asian Handicap
Chelsea -0.75
