The Eagles try to stop a two-game losing slump. They lost 3-0 at home to Burnley the last time out after tasting a 2-0 defeat at Leeds United.
Those losses came after Roger Hodgson’s side nailed two straight wins, 1-0 at home over Wolverhampton wanderers and 2-1 at Newcastle United.
The Eagles now seek to break their two-game spell without a goal. Their talisman, forward Wilfried Zaha, is currently recovering from a thigh injury. Zaha has so far scored nine goals this campaign.
In Zaha’s absence, midfielder Eberichi Eze and striker Christian Benteke will now lead the eagles’ attack Both of them have so far scored three league goals.
Palace’s two-game slide came they scored back-to-back wins, 1-0 at home over Wolverhampton wanderers and 2-1 at Newcastle United.
In their last league showdown, Palace and Brighton played to a 1-1 standoff at Selhurst Park, whilst the last time they met at Brighton, Palace won 1-0.
