The Conspiracy Theorist says...
Granada will be happy to be back at home after 2 poor performances away from home. They were battered 6-1 by Atletico Madrid then were held to a draw by newly-promoted Cadiz 1-1. With 7 points, they are still at 10th place in the table, and will hope to bounce back with at home where they opened their campaign with back-to-back home wins last month.
Sevilla return to action after the international break unbeaten in the La Liga. They were able to draw Barcelona 1-1 at the Camp Nou 2 weeks ago, with both teams settling the match early on with a goal each inside the first 10 minutes. This is their 2nd away trip in a row, and the current Europa League title holders will be looking for a win before they return back home.
Sevilla impressed last game at the trip to Camp Nou, as they were able to frustrate Messi & Co. to settle for a point.  In their last 4 meetings in the La Liga, Sevilla has won 3 times over Granada, while keeping a clean sheet in all of these matches. Looking at how Granada were thrashed by Atletico Madrid, there's no doubt that the visitors can easily overcome the hosts, as they cannot yet match a team with this same level of quality.

Los Palanganas won their first two games this 2020-21 season of the Spanish top flight, 3-1 at Cadiz in the opener and then 1-0 at home over Levanza.

Their search for a third win in succession ended in a 1-1 draw at Barcelona. Nevertheless, Sevilla stayed without a loss in their first three games.

Julen Lopetegui’s men are in sixth place with seven points and trail leaders Real Madrid by three points.

DRAW AT CAMP NOU

At Camp Nou, striker Luuk de Jong gave visiting Sevilla a 1-0 lead after eight minutes but two minutes later midfielder/winger Philippe Coutinho struck for the leveller.  De Jong also scored one of the goals for Sevilla in their win over Cadiz.

Granada won their first two fixtures of the fresh season both at home, 2-0 over Athletic Club and 2-1 over Deportivo Alavaes.

But Diego Martinez’s side were routed at Atletico Madrid 6-1 in their third game before settling for a 1-1 draw at Cadiz the last time out.

Central defender German Sanchez put Granada up 1-0 after 27 minutes before Cadiz equalized through right winger Ivan Alejo in the 48th minute.

Granada, seventh placers the past season, are in 10th place with seven points after four games, trailing Sevilla just on goal difference.

Sevilla beat Granada in their last three La Liga encounters, the latest a 2-0 victory at home. In their last duel at Granada, Sevilla fashioned out a 1-0 victory.

De Jong has already scored two goals this season and will be on the pitch to bother Granada defenders.
