The Conspiracy Theorist says...
PSG's last game ended in chaos as 5 red cards were shown in their 0-1 loss at home against Marseille. Neymar, Layvin Kurzawa, and Leandro Paredes will all be unavailable in their game as a brawl erupted towards the end of the match. They have now lost their first 2 Ligue 1 games since the season kicked off last week, but it's due to a majority of their starters being unavailable due to lack of match fitness, like Kylian Mbappe, Mauro Icardi, Marquinhos, and Keylor Navas.
Metz fell short of handling Lille as they conceded in the 88th minute to lose 1-0 away last in the weekend, opening their Ligue 1 campaign with 2 losses in a row. They are in the same situation with their upcoming opponents, having lost their opening first two matches and failing to score in these two.
Even with the turmoil that happened in their last game, PSG will still be able to field a good lineup despite missing several attacking pieces in this match. It's a good fixture to bounce back, and Metz will find it hard to break the hosts once again, who have been desperately seeking for their first win in the season.
Asian Handicap
PSG -1.5

Defending champions Paris Saint-Germain aim to recover from two straight defeats when they host Metz in Ligue 1. Predictions and odds for this PSG versus Metz match to be played behind closed doors at Parc des Princes are available.

After losing to promoted side Lens 1-0 in their opening game, undermanned PSG tasted a second loss in succession in a sluggish start to the 2020-21 season as they were beaten 1-0 in a brawl-marred match at home by visiting Olympique Marseille in their Le Classique duel.

It was the first time since 1984-85 that PSG lost their opening two Ligue 1 fixtures.

Winger Florian Thauvin’s 31st-minute strike was enough for Marseille to down the French capital side at Parc des Princes.

The win was a huge follow-up by Marseille, last season’s runners-up to PSG, following their 3-2 victory at Brest to start their campaign.

PSG were without young star player Kylan Mbappe when they faced Marseille. The 21-year-old Mbappe is in isolation after recently testing positive for Covid-19 whilst on international duty.

Metz, 15th placers last season, lost their opening fixture, 1-0 at Lille, and will now test if PSG are still in awful form though they have yet to find ways to upset the reigning champions.

Forward Habib Diallo will be Metz’s main hope in their attack. Diallo finished with 12 league goals last season. Goalkeeper Alexandre Oukidja will have a tough time here of PSG attackers find their rhythm. Oukidja psted eight clean sheets last season.

In Mbappe’s absence, much expectation is on Neymar, Angel Di Maria and Mauro Icardi as PSG try to avoid absorbing a rare third defeat in a row.

PSG have defeated Metz in their last nine league meetings, the latest being a 2-0 victory at Metz. The last time they faced each other at Parc des Princes, PSG crushed Metz 5-0.
